May 28, 2024 (Sutter Creek, Ca)—The Amador County Arts Council (Amador Arts) invites you to celebrate summer at the 26th annual TGIF FREE Concert Series. Starting Friday June 14th from 6 PM to 8 PM and continuing every Friday till August 2nd (no concert on July 26th so you can enjoy the visual arts and live music at the Amador County Fair). Enjoy a variety of local Amador County bands nominated and chosen by the community, with the full list of bands at TGIF Summer Concerts. This year the concerts will be happening exclusively at Mollie Joyce Park in Pioneer to provide more free music access to “Up Country” families and manage the growing production costs.

This is a family friendly event that is free of cost and tobacco free. Amador Arts will be providing space and art supplies for art creation at the concerts with Amador Arts staff and award-winning Visual Artist Lee Thibodeaux. The snack shack will be open with beer and wine provided by Up Country Rotary. We also encourage picnicking while enjoying the live music under the pines. There is plenty of shade for everyone!

This concert series is sponsored by the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk, Volcano Telecommunications, and Equality California and is in partnership with the Amador County Recreation Agency. This series is supported entirely by donations and sponsorships from the local community. If you want to be involved in funding free concerts throughout the community, email or call/text (209)256-8166.
