Nominate your favorite bands today! Up until December 15, the Amador County Arts Council invites you to nominate your favorite bands for consideration for TGIF 2024. Locals and tourists alike, who love to hear free live music all summer long, are welcome to nominate their favorite band to perform at TGIF 2024. The TGIF summer concerts will celebrate their 26th year of providing free music for Amador. This series provides 10 concerts at public parks throughout the county, giving families access to free live music they might not get to enjoy otherwise.

The community has the power to decide what musicians perform this summer. Is there a band that you love but you always miss their shows? Or maybe your favorite band is out of your price range. If you nominate them for consideration for TGIF 2024, you have the opportunity to see them in your backyard. To nominate your band, go to and click “Nominate Your Favorite Band!” If you are unable to use this digital form please email your nominations to Once the nomination period has closed, there will be a voting period where the community will vote and the most popular bands will be the ones who get hired for TGIF 2024.

“The event doesn’t just bring the community together, but it brings generations of people together. Only music does that, and you don’t get it anywhere else.” Tracy Dehn, former Direct to Consumer Manager of Trinchero Family Estates, which owns and operates Terra d’Oro winery in Plymouth, one of the many venues featured in the TGIF concert series. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about TGIF nominations please reach out to us through email to, or text/call (209)256-8166.
