The Amador County Arts Council (Amador Arts) will be participating again in Giving Tuesday and invites you to make a donation to support arts education and free concerts. The Giving Tuesday organization says “GivingTuesday is a movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world.” Since 2012, this online movement has helped donors give directly to their community and in 2022 raised $3.1 billion in the United States alone. Giving Tuesday will be happening on November 28th. Donations can be made on our website or through our social media @amadorarts on Instagram and Facebook, through the mail to P.O. Box 206 Sutter Creek, CA 95685, or in-person at the Give Amador Reception from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at 11361 Prospect Dr, Jackson, Ca 95642.
Donating to Amador Arts means supporting all artists in Amador County. Amador Arts provides free art classes and competitions for the community including Music for Kids 5 and under, Aztec Dance Classes, and Logo and Original Poem competitions for students. Your money goes directly to providing more than 1800 local kids with free standard-aligned arts classes which amounts to over 200 classes per year. Amador Arts also provides at least $10,000 in annual grants to local artists/organizations and scholarships for local youth creatives. Making a donation to Amador Arts this Giving Tuesday means 1500 families will have access to FREE live music this summer. Your direct support means that Amador Arts can continue to employ 11 local artists to provide our programs and services.
DeDe Ryan, past board president and philanthropic expert, says “Without the support of donors like you, any non-profit will flounder. Your donation to Amador Arts goes toward making arts education possible for all students in Amador County. Thank you for your support.” If you would like more information about Giving Tuesday and the work that the Amador Arts does please visit https://www.amadorarts.org/ ,email firstname.lastname@example.org, or text/call (209)256-8166.
