Amador Arts Scholarships
Supporting rural youth studying The Arts in college
Deja Douglas received a scholarship from AmadorArts in 2020 to pursue her college education in Psychology & Visual Art.
For decades, Amador Arts Council has offered scholarship funds to support local, rural youth in their pursuit of high education in the arts. In 2022, Amador Arts is awarding over $10,000 to local youth artists attending a four year college. APPLICATION MATERIALS MUST BE RECEIVED BY APRIL 8th, 2022.
Eligibility:
- Primary residence is in Amador County
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Attending a four-year college in 2022
- Majoring in an arts discipline
Application Materials:
- Mission Statement Essay
- Letter of Recommendation
- Transcripts
- Portfolio
Applications will be evaluated by the Amador Arts Advisory Committee. Top-ranking applicants will be interview on
APRIL 14 between 5 and 8 PM.
Applicants who do not attend a scheduled interview, will no longer be eligible.
