FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Open Call for Mural Proposals

JACKSON CA–In partnership with Amador County Arts Council (“AmadorArts”), Harrah’s Northern California announces an OPEN CALL for Mural proposals. Harrah’s is searching for a Northern California Artist who loves Amador County and wants to mural the 108 by 8 foot wall. This is a paid position that will beautify and inspire locals and tourists alike.

Artists are called to submit mural proposals for the wall located at the main entrance of Harrah’s Northern California Casino in Buena Vista, California at 4640 Coal Mine Road. Proposals must address the main theme: “Come Out & Play”. Harrah’s is specifically looking for the following:

• Playful, open, welcoming, colorful
• Casino, Winning, Lady Luck
• Amador County
• Local Wine Country
• Fun & Fresh Typography/Lettering

Murals must compliment Harrah’s color codes:

Purple: #350457

Pink: #ED0080

Green: #A5BB29

Light Green: #CBDB2A

Priority will be given to artists with roots in Amador County.

Mural Proposals are due by March 1, 2021. In addition to a drawing/diagram of the mural design,
proposals must include a written statement from the artist (max 2000 characters), bio and resume, supplies budget, and contact information. Proposals will be assessed by Harrah’s and artists will be notified by March 20, 2021 with an April 1 start date. Questions can be directed to Meghan Joy
