AmadorArts is HIRING a TGIF Master of Ceremonies!
Be a part of bringing free concerts to all of Amador County! This job includes greeting and speaking with guests, MC-ing the concert, soliciting donations, paying the band, giving fans and programs to guests, answering AmadorArts questions, counting the size of the crowd, providing shade and water to musicians, and more. Up to 45 hours per summer at $15/hour (hourly employee). Job schedule is 10 Fridays in the summer (June through August) from 4 to 8:30pm. This individual needs to feel comfortable interacting with new people, working a crowd, and enjoying all types of music. Amador County Arts Council, is a non-profit organization (501-c-3) dedicated to a mission to encourage, support and promote the Arts in the schools and community. The AmadorArts Center is located at 617 S. Highway 49 (Mother Lode Plaza) in Jackson, CA. Public transit provides a stop here. The AmadorArts Center will have daily open studio space for all ages, special exhibits and small performances of poetry, music and theatre. This is a centralized space to teach, promote and celebrate all forms of the arts in our rural county.
TGIF MC reports to the Amador County Arts Council Board of Directors.
