ART LAB is a new Arts Education program by AmadorArts Council and is an interdisciplinary arts “petri dish” for rural creatives to learn skills, create new works, and amplify community needs and triumphs.
ART LAB is the perfect place for creative minds to expand their practice, inspire one another, have fun creating, and engage in all arts disciplines for a more rounded creative process. ART LAB includes visual, media, music, dance, theatre, poetry, nature art, wellness arts, and more! All abilities, all ages, and all people welcome.
ART LAB meets Fridays from 9 AM to 11:30 AM for adults, 2 to 4 PM for families, and 4 to 6 PM for teens. Unaccompanied minors age 10 and up may attend alone upon submission of a guardian-signed permission form. Children under 10 may not attend alone.
This arts education experience is FREE but registrants must commit to attend at least 60% of the sessions.
Sessions begin on Friday October 1, 2021 and go through May 27, 2022.
ART LAB will be closed on the following Fridays: November 26, December 24 and 31, and April 15.
Sessions are taught by Teaching Artist, Meghan Joy O’Keefe with visiting artists as available. For more information, contact AmadorArts at 209-256-8166 or firstname.lastname@example.org
