Amador Storytelling Guild
Everyone has a story!
The Amador Storytelling Guild meets the second Wednesday of every month from 3-5pm in a Zoom Meeting. This event is to share written, story and poetry works in recitation. This group is facilitated by the 1st Poet Laureate of Amador County, Kat Everitt.
Each guest will have the opportunity to recite a piece, for less than five minutes. Then the floor will open for discussion in support and appreciation of the piece. Have a couple of recitations ready, in case there is a ‘second round’!
All ages are welcome! Please keep all recited pieces family appropriate, as there is the possibility of ‘kids’ joining in, and for the comfort of the group.
We are hoping if we get enough parents and children involved that we can have 4-5PM be “Children’s Hour.” This would involve a children’s story time, an opportunity for them to share their own stories, and best of all – puppets!
Support and engage with local writers and poets in expression and recitation!
