Arts Education

The Arts help students succeed in all other subject areas and in life, by engaging their interest, stimulating creativity, improving critical thinking, encouraging collaboration, and building self esteem.

Watercolor5Elementary Arts Education

Each year AmadorArts brings in-depth standards-based instruction by professional artists into all of our local elementary schools. More than 1,500 Amador County Elementary Students participate in an arts class facilitated by AmadorArts. Classes include: 1st grade Color Wheel, 2nd grade Doodle Art, 3rd grade Matisse-inspired Paper Collage, 4th grade Watercolor Technique & 5th grade Chalk Pastel.

CampCommunity Arts Programs

AmadorArts coordinates Art Classes, such as doodle art, watercolor, music and more, at the ARC of Amador, Pine Grove Youth Conservation Camp, and the HUB After School Program.

B Street Theatre School Tours

AmadorArts also contracts with B Street Theater of Sacramento to bring their School Tour performances to Amador County Elementary Schools. These performances are fun, engaging theatre experiences which address subjects like science and history with a comedic twist.
