For 2013 we will be operating with new grant monies to promote our mission. The biggest award comes from the California Arts Council, a State agency that makes us a part of a State-Local Partnership to bring the arts to every region of our state. This is a 1:1 matching grant, which means we must produce $12,500 to earn this grant. Thanks to your continued support, we can achieve this. The State grant is unique because it can be allocated to pay for operational expenses (ie. salary of a part-time executive director).

Other smaller non-matching grants have been from Target to bring the B Street Theatre Touring Program to six local schools, and another one, a Planning Grant from the California Arts Council to bring long-term Artists-in-Residencies to four schools in 2014.
